Sherman has been my favorite player for a long time for that reason. It isn’t anxiety though. He’s got his head on straight and he’s paying attention ALL the time. He sees past those meaningless questions he’s bombarded with. He does more for young kids out there than any of those other players, but they want to harass him with character judging questions, demanding how he feels in a game. Lynch works and wants to go home. Whole world all up in his face asking dumb questions, he just hits em up with the dumb answer that those dumb questions deserve.

@@MobTyz It was because the base of his thumb on his throwing hand was torn open during practice before a playoff game that required many stitches and was being held together by tape (pictures released after the season ended showed just how bad it was. You can look it up on google). He was facing the #1 defense in the league in 4 days and though everyone knew he had injured his hand, he was trying to not show the opposing team that the injury was in a bad place for gripping the ball as he had not tried to practice with it yet. 4 days later he completed 26 of 38 passes for 290 yards and a 4th quarter comeback win then threw for over 500 yards in a losing effort against the Eagles at the Superbowl 2 weeks after that.

MrBwincali420 I carefully chose the word especially because everyone should have humility. But the media, being an outlet that provides the public with truths, should hold this standard as high, if not higher than everyone else when on the job. Fake news, regardless of the sector, causes a ton of damage to the person of interest or to the public. And to be frank bro, I’m not sure how you even insinuate that I would think Sherman can never be wrong, when I was clearly reacting to the video clip/example. In that clip, the reporter was getting flustered and couldn’t just move on. She had to keep arguing for a storyline, which I personally found to be embarrassing, because a comment section is full of opinions.

"I'm only here so I don't get fined" got so much attention because it was in the media day during Super Bowl week, but it was built up to get to that level of attention over the preceding months. It was also one of the rare ones where he knew just how great it was, and you can see him break character and laugh at the bit himself. Add in that it was after the Sunday night game in AZ where they clinched the division, and how huge of a game he had and just gets better.
