I just love this tour of your home, you are truly a magical and unique designer. Definately not a cookie cutter designer! Such one of a kind ideas, this home is so fun, relaxing, whimsical and just darn cute. I love listening to your voice and how creative you are with all these projects. Thank you for sharing and I Love it all!!!!

What I loved on the house tour was the beaded valance on the windows, & the tin ceiling, How is that installed to stay is it glued, stapled nailed, ? how is done? I also love the garden the lake, the Balcony, looking on to the lake, Victoria you are such a breath of fresh air, I love the fact that your brain never stops inventing design. I love that, I am the same way I never stop thinking of doing different things, I sometimes become annoyed when people come to my home & tell me it looks like a museum. Well I say to them my home is my artist palette, this is how I express myself in my design & I am proud of it. I do not want to be dull or unexpressive, each to their own. I was a decorator in New York, but when moving to Florida not many here are into design. & creativity. but that does not stop me from inside to outside, I have created, an artist palette of design & never stop creating,. well, Victoria, your tour was impressive, as always, God Bless you & never stop being you.

Oh, Victoria, my heart could beak for you and Richard, because you don’t live here anymore, but I know you have no time for regrets. The house is the external display of all that you both are internally oozing with ! I’m so glad that the house has been preserved…. and I believe that is not an accident ! I was talking with someone, recently, about you and they were shocked to learn that MacKenzie-Childs is not just a fabulous made up name to attract attention !… and your name is no accident, either 🌟🙏🏽❤️

Miss Victoria, thank you for sharing so much wonder with us! It makes my day to see a new video of yours has uploaded. I was in an antique shop this weekend and picked up a piece of yours. Sitting amongst all the more recent MC pieces the seller had (it was a courtly check explosion in there haha) was your beautiful MacLachlan lidded box with the thistle on top and I purchased it so that I would have a little authentic piece of you in my home. My husband is also of Scottish descent and we collect thistles too so it was perfect to find. I hope an all new generation of young creatives, artists and crafters find you and your channel because you are truly one of a kind. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I will tell you a funny little thing about cupboard beds, we had two wire haired Dachshunds for many many years, and at night we tucked them in to a drawer in a chest next to our bed. And in the day, it just closed up and took up no room! Like a kind of Murphy bed, eh?

My dear Channel Mammals! I am so deeply grateful for your comments. One person asked if I still answer comments snd the ANSWER is YESSSS! It’s just that of late I i have been ever so busy with urgent matters for yankee, Up State, and the wondrous days of Christmas Tide. But Guess what! I have read snd been encouraged by every single one! I have giggled, run to share sweet stories with Richard, and wept with you over the sad things I have long overcome, but feel so tender for your concerns, as I had too once been. However, God is grace, God I’d Live, and best of all, God is All!! So nothing can touch us when we life fearlessly, hsnd in hand with our Father Mother. I always remind myself that when we were leading MacKenzie-Childs, we were necessarily cloistered away. Never would I have been free, as now, to know and look up to each one of you as if following your every thoughts. I feel honored. I am laboring with love on some gift for the Patreon Patrons, which I never thought could take so long, even for the crafting of it, but also for the difficulty which seems so demanding, of other things constantly slipping my days away, stealthily in the early morn and then catching me up in the night. But soon it shall be sent off to those precious Patreon Patrons. I try to answer some every time I can. But until each one is responded to, I shall not feel fulfilled with my yearning to be with you in heart and soul. So I hope you don’t go away thinking I will not be here to answer, please. Ever fondly, Ahoy! Victoria MacKenzie-Childs (including Richard … he is such a sweet support. It isn’t easy at the moment but he is stalwart in his upward way)

Tamie, you can get over that over thinking. It’s not that one should not always be listening to Wisdom, but not at the risk of the first voice within, the “still, small voice”. And it will lead you to the childlike humility, which liberates the talents. Car all have them, and they reinforce us all back and forth. They are not the same. But mortals label only certain ways creative. That’s hogwash. We are all the perfect INDIVIDUAL reflection of our Father Mother God’s infinite creativity. So claim your own special confidences, and your needs will be meant, as they meet the needs of others, and give it all up to God in gratitude. Have a very happy day with that!

Victoria- Is it a happy accident, or by scrupulous design that the juxtaposition of the simple and austere and the festive and ornate highlight each other's beauty? The rail and wallpaper complement by means of being opposite. So much like several couples I know. Just today's observation. Best- your upstate uncle Robert

Hi Mingzhu! Wow, that’s a big question, you got there! Some of our work was such a strange combination that it would take more than a KZbin moment to answer, more like an MKC-MFA to cover it. But, to give one quick answer, the walls in the living room, which my mother painted started with a traditional gesso layer, and then artist oils, many many tubes of artist oils. It was a long process, & slow drying. Sorry not to be able to go into everything . I guess I can just sum up that one type of painter (scenes on furniture and on walls). It was all done in Artist Oils. So very nice of you to comment, my new friend, and I hope you keep watching. I loved hearing from you. Have a right glorious day!
