What about the workers who will be laid off because shipments are not arriving at their facilities? What even about to economic impacts that this will have on Canadians as a whole. You simply cannot hold the supply chain hostage like this. Stop limiting yourself to being for one side or the other, its not a binary equation. You can find a nuanced opinion that supports the labour rights of all Canadians while also respecting the one of the rail workers. The feds created every penny of inflation which had the effect of lowering everyones pay by 10-20% or more. Trying tro be conservative but if you ever buy food you know the numbers are much higher. Not a big union fan but the why surrounding this mess is obvious. That said, if you control the nations food supply you should not have the option to strike and cut off this food supply. The only other shipping option is by truck which costs a great deal more further adding to the inflationary spiral.
