Israel is deploying troops to the demilitarised zone, not "seizing Syrian territory." And if one actually reads the 1974 disengagement of forces agreement, one would know that according to that agreement, all of the territory east of the purple line (the de facto border between Israel and Syria) was to be administered by Syria, and all of the territory west of the purple line, was to be administered by Israel, pending a final settlement on the Arab Israeli Conflict. That's s binding international law. The dmz was placed strictly west of the Purple line, in Israeli territory. When the Syrian government and military collapsed, Israel was within its right to deploy troops on its side of the Purple Line. So please stop with the lies and hypocrisy.

For context, Syrian militias were planning on using these missiles and chemical weapons against the Kurds inside Syrian borders.
