Wonderful experiences can be held by cruising. We have over two decades of vacations on cruise ships. IMO for us, cruising is a bargain: the opportunities to see so many diverse cultures, rich and poor, off board and onboard they add to our lives, we to theirs, plus gathering opinions from other countries on their and our political views is essential. It’s a challenge as we travel to keep them white, but our secret is that we get a new set when we come home for a visit. In three years, we’ve worn 42 shirts each. By the time we return for the next set, they are in bad shape! John & Bev

Hi, nice video, as always. Thanks. Just some food for thought, if I may (please don't take it as criticism): I was a bit disturbed about you giving that Gambian girl a dollar because she's cute. Is that the best message or lesson for her? Her mother probably works a whole day for a couple of dollars. If she gets a dollar because she's cute, she might get other ideas of how she can use her cuteness to get by in life instead of her hald work (in school!). I do support the idea of bringing stationary or sports material to schools, but handing out money to random children is, to my mind, not ideal. I hope I haven't upset you with my honest.comment. It just something to think about for future travels, from one traveller to another.

Nice cruise, but personally its cringey to give children money like that. Would you ever in NA just hand money to a child? Also these tours that take you to see orphanages and schools are good for the children. Dont think for one minute that you are a one off. Its akin to a human zoo
