Beautiful! I have discovered to put drainage hole not quite in middle of mugs, almost along edge, it allows the water to not sit. Lol or my granddaughter provides 3 cute little plastic Lego blocks.

It's amazing how well your succulents perform in so much organic matter. My humid zone 9a in Houston will not allow for that, I'm mostly grit and sand and maybe 20% organic matter. My lauiis grown from seed looks so different from yours, I am beginning to think these names are "wacked" Lolzzzz

How did you do that with such ease? I am potting my babies and I have detached the roots on too many while separating from momma leaf that I've stopped trying :(

Getting the soil wet helps and also the shaking from side to side loosens the roots.

You're lucky. A lot of them are brought in from other plants and soil. This is why it's good practice to have an isolation area for new plants. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend.🥰

Hi Liz, I’d like to know how big I can let the succulent babies grow in coco coir before repotting in soil ? Thanks
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
It's not really how big but more how much roots it has. Even the small ones with plenty of roots can be transplanted into its proper soil. The more roots, the less chance of root rot.

Liz HELP PLEASE 🥰🥰🥰 do you separate many heads growing from a single leaf?
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK3 жыл бұрын
I thought I already replied to this question yesterday from another video. Both! I sometimes just put the whole lot in if there's no roots and the leaf is dry and if they have roots that I can separate, then I separate them and plant separately.

It depends on the succulent variety as some do take a long time to germinate and others just about grows right before your eye. Some of my Echeveria Blue bird took 6 months to put out a baby and my Echeveria Exotica had a baby in 3 weeks.
