Love how she says a quick video, then blesses us with 20 minutes of content

Love the “candid content”. The whole not having the string and stealing it from a nearby plant is so relatable. It’d be fun to watch this stuff live.

Please don't sell yourself short by saying "this is boring content" because viewers like me enjoy watching repots! These kind of videos belong under the umbrella of plant chores which is a popular plant youtuber video type... Content doesn't have to be all lists and curated talking points but just plant people showing what their planty chores include🌱🙂 I just spent a day of repotting house plant cuttings and some seed grown garden crops with young adults (with background of mental problems) as volunteer work, and all the people were amazed how much I knew of plants and techniques. That knowledge is from watching youtubers like you. Every video I spend binge watching builds my knowledge arsenal that I can share whenever needed. I had probably 20 different species to share from my personal plant hoarder's collection and next Thursday I'll do it all over again. I am 5 months pregnant and my feet and back are killing me after all that standing up and bending over a too low table, but I do it for love. I want everybody to be excited of future like all the plant parents usually are, and feel the purpose for their existence, because the plants need to be cared for❤

LOVE the extra video and the slight chaos it entailed! Reminds me of every re-pot I have ever done. Seems a simple 10 minute project and then...

To be fair, the Lechuza pots are more expensive BUT they also got larger reservoirs and the indicator has a better visibility. Idea for a larger pole: get a second one and bind them together with thick hemp rope in an 8 shape. You could just use plastic pipes as base.

Ha, that was awesome! 😂 How many of us get ourselves in the same situation, with the things we need just out of reach!? He's definitely different to a regular Deliciosa. 💚 My small (medium??) form boys are in leca and loving life on those standard shop poles. Giving me HUGE leaves now. I use the thin velcro, fuzzy side in, a lifesaver.

I never understood those coco poles, roots cannot penetrate that material and if so they met this inside pole, I don't get it. It is fairly cheaper than sphagnum but do coco poles even retain some of the moisture? for how long? couple hours? I never seen any plant develop bigger leaves on those poles, am I stupid? can someone enlighten me why would someone choose cocopole instead of sphagnum/aroid mix poles? Is it all about costs? what are the results here?

Would love to know how she made that pole for the Monstera since I'm very new at this and have a lanky Monstera that needs to go into a larger pot and get attached to something so it can get off of the ground.
@maggs8109 ай бұрын
I don't think she made it. These poles are available in garden shops. If you do want to try and make one, there are for sure tutorials on here (which I've not tried myself). I'm not sure it'll be worth it financially, as I don't know how much these poles cost where you are 😊

Yea love this, girl. My fav thing to do and watch are repots. Love the chipmunk face too, nice try, but you’re still super cute ❤I toats want this monstera too!! You think they’re normally leggy? Lots of room between the nodes? Def need a closer camera angle 😂

I think the most logical reason for ppl hating on self watering pots and the other things you mentioned is bc ppl in covid had too much time on their hands and were able to constantly stay on top of watering without all the aids... and now the haters had to go back to having a life and work and probably use the same aids they hated upon MUAHAHAHAAA delicious irony 🤩😂😂

Semi hydro didn't use to be as popular as it is now - especially with house plants -- and self-watering pots with soil had a well deserved bad rep. So I suspect it was mostly a hold-over from that mentality? I use to get roasted for keeping basil (and other herbs) in self watering pots in my kitchen lol.

@Kaylee is that Lechuza-Pon? or: Pon u mixed up yrself? If so, could u share yr recipe?? Contacted Lechuza & they're sold out till ~June '24. I could probably hold my breath till then, but I ❤ propagating plants in the substrate they'll be eventually grown in
