Pro tip: During monsoons , when ur soil or sand is very wet while making a mixture then you could dry it with a hair dryer because wet soil does not mix well

I had, actually, still have a hibiscus plant which gave huge red flowers which people envied. The plant had never flowered for 4 years, but I never gane up on it, and my patience was rewarded. Last year some white bugs, which I presume were mealy bugs, crowded each axial bud and ants made a meal of it. My flowers were unaffected initially. But gradually the sight of the plant, and three fear that it might infect other plants prompted me to spray a chemical melation. Neem juice, in s a dluted solution made no sent on the white cover of the creatures. I pushed the huge cement planted under the open sky in the hope that heavy rain would wash off both creatures. No luck. The chemical pesticide damaged the first choice inches of each thick stem. I tried cutting them. The leaves on the other stems/ most of them are woody, shrivelled. I feel sad for the plant, that I am such a numbskull at not being able to maintain it. And I have noticed black patches on many of the leaves. I conclude that this fungal growth.

Very well described.. I repotted my new ZZ plant tiday only but took 25% garden soil, 60% Cocopeat and 15% vermi composed. What will you suggest over this soil mix?

Namaskar Anjana ji I really appreciate your videos .. You are my inspiration to try gardening now that i am retired though i have only a tiny 9'×4' west facing balcony .. Your videos are well planned and prepared .. they leave little to ask .. Just one query .. Construction sites have 1. Grey colored fine sand 2. Orange colored badarpur .. which is danedar Which one do we use in the pots 1. For succulents, zz etc 2. For propogation potting mix Kindly answer I will be very thankful 🙏 I just want to know

Badarpur is better I think. Just it should be river sand not sand on beaches. This one type is used for all purposes.
