The original clutch was long gone when I got to it. I understand these Masseys had a fairly exposed main clutch originally that made servicing it easy. The clutch now is a Hilliard Extreme Duty centrifugal clutch made for go cart racing. It seems to work well enough here. If it gets very hot from a lot of slipping it will smoke but seems fine after it cools down. Other wise it was cheap and easy and should be replaceable if it ever wears out but is showing no wear signs so far.

Plenty of power sort of not. It does have enough though to pull spreader, hay rake, hay wagon, tedder, easy things like that at a reasonable speed. The PTO is still there and works quit well for teddering and light duty stuff. This tractor never had hydraulics but adding them is for sure on a wish list. This spreader is a ground drive one which has some advantages but makes trying to unload in one spot like for a pile impossible. Since this video the tractor has been sped up with new gears

Does the tractor still have its original clutch, or just the torque clutch on the new engine? Grant
