A message from Reptihomes: “…since i sent ya this enclosure. I’ve changed up my screws packaging so there’s no more breaks. And i pack it differently so the venting side is in the middle and helps to keep it from cracking. Figured out FedEx hates my packages haha so thankfully all the cons have been addressed 😁😁” Woohoo!🙌🏻 We love a company that actively addresses concerns and makes changes to better their products! 💙

I just got a 6×2.5×2 for my semi-dwarf Boa and a 4×2.5×2 for my African Fat-Tailed Gecko. The first company I ordered from fell through (waited 6 months after initially being told 6 weeks) and found another company (American Enclosures) that I'm over the moon about. The design aesthetic is A tier. I just got these in black but now looking at your white I'm like 🤔 maybe I should have gotten white! It's beautiful! Can't wait to see yours all finished in the next video.

This is why if I get enclosures I go to reptile expos I could never wait months and months for my enclosures I got mine from gecko junkie at tinley expo and was great got them there and then

I totally would if any of my Expos had vendors that sold enclosures! Sometimes there are some but they are usually black pvc and my enclosures are all white 😅

@@zareptiles oh ya see I rather have black 😭I like how white enclosures look on the inside but I rather have black on the outside and they don’t really sell them with both lol

am i right you cant use heat mats on pvc ¿? only on glass n plexi glass correct ??

right! For pvc enclosures I would recommend installing lights or a radiant heat panel!

I am lucky! I live in Southern California and Reptihomes actually DELIVERED the enclosures already BUILT for me!!! I have TWO 6x2x2 enclosures for my BCI Boas and all I had to do was install the RHPs, the hardscape and the glass!! I place my Reptihomes enclosures on a heavy duty rack, so I don't have to worry about buckling due to the weight. I really like them and recommend them to anyone in the Southern California area. My only Con I have with Reptihomes is his communication. It took 3 to 4 attempts to get a hold of him. But once I got into contact him things were okay. My other con I had is that while it was published 7 to 9 weeks, It took about 12 weeks to get my two enclosures. But when compare to other PVC manufacturers quoting 5 to 8 months lead time, 12 weeks is nothing. I bought a 4x2x2 PVC enclosure from another company before discovering Reptihomes and I regret getting it. I wish I would have known about Reptihomes before I got my Ball Python's enclosure. I agree with your pros. My "cons" are communication and it took about 3 to 4 weeks longer, but it could have been that I was ordering TWO 6x2x2 enclosures at the same time. But if I had to get another PVC enclosure, I would go back to Reptihomes!! With no hesitation.

Thanks for sharing your experience!! Im jealous that you live relatively local! Shipping costs are probably the main thing that keep me from constantly buying new enclosures 😅🤣 I’d never have money if I live locally to anyone who builds LOL!

I ordered three large enclosures on December 5th, 2022 and after the initial order was complete have heard nothing. I find it very difficult to believe that anyone in a business can't find the time to just send a reassuring email or a phone text update on the progress of the order, especially when they have apparently pocketed $4,500 of my money. Bad communication doesn't begin to cover it - this is bad business. And I have been extremely patient and not at all pushy but I'm getting extremely tired of waiting, not just for the enclosures, but just for a reply to my messages. There is also the matter of an additional $650. that I paid for expedited shipping and delivery.

Since I watched this review back in early December I ordered three new large pvc enclosures to the tune of $4,500. I paid $650. extra for expedited delivery. They should have been here by the end of December. I was originally dealing with someone named Raymond Alvarado. He disappeared and I was getting no response to my emails or phone calls over the holidays, which is sometimes understandable. But then after the holidays I began hearing from a guy named Alfred Klyer and his messages were really off. He was saying that they had our order but that we needed to pay THEM an additional $650, to get the refund of $650. for expedited delivery that I had requested, since they had obviously never been delivered. Now I have heard nothing and can't seem to get ahold of anyone. There is no response to phone calls or messages, and I am preparing to take legal action. Please beware of this company - I believe it is a scam.

im sorry to hear this was your experience! He was definitely not a scam and was well recommended and used by many and Ive followed him for years prior to working with him. After your comment I did some asking around and it sounds like he went out of business about that time. Im not sure the details, but I hope it all worked out!
