It's closer in size to one of the anacondas in the movie, the one which attacked the boat is a different animal than the big one at the end of the movie, the boat anaconda had part of it's head blown off, the one at the end of the movie didn't and the boat anaconda is much smaller. Medusa is closer in size to the boat anaconda (apparently it's supposed to be a male), but all the anacondas in the movie were all bigger than her. The first anaconda movie was the only one where the snakes actually looked like anacondas.
