Human and animal has different interest for killing , for animal it might be his prey (be it human , dear , or any other smaller snake) if he is hungry or it is being threatened by him/her. While former is a part of ecosystem, the later is the safety measure and in accordance to Darwin theory. But for men it is neither, Snakes doesn't have Guns to defend them Men have and they use it to hunt to threaten animal, to kill unnecessarily. If Only ecosystem was given a chance to balance it would have never lead to over population of human challenging the life of every other species. So it is indeed Poor snake. Else while human kill animal which he could have not with his hands lone should be sentenced to Death !

It's important to note that many of the anacondas that have been observed were in environments with smaller and less plentiful prey and more human influence--it is possible that somewhere in the remote regions of the Amazon, far from human influence and larger and more prey--there could *possibly* be anacondas in excess of 33 ft in length. Anacondas do continue growing throughout their lives, after all.

Furthermore, were not any more special than any other creature on this planet so to say that were a virus with no respect towards other it would mean that other creatures are FAR FAR worse than just a virus considering theyve done nothing in regards to others, other than kill that is! I live in Borneo. Let me share some of the stories my grandmother told me when she was young. It's up to you to believe it or not. 1. She once saw a snake that is as big as a coconut tree, she did not even see the head or tail while it was moving. 2. When she was little, she went to wash her clothes at a river. She sat on something that looks like a tree trunk at the river side and busies herself. She realised some time later that the tree she sat on was moving and it crossed the river. My grandmother quickly evacuated the place and saw from afar that what she sat on was an enormous crocodile. It was so big that it did not even realise my grandmother was washing clothes on top of it. Edit1:grammar

Snakes are actually afraid of people and only attack when threatened. I’ve literally been 5 feet away from a venomous snake when I was 8 or 9, and it swam away instead of messing with me. What if I attacked you and killed you because you eat meat? Smh.
@jesusc35965 жыл бұрын
Lol this people probably think anacondas are like the ones in the movies , an snake like that will not kill every worker , they only kill to eat , if they they are in danger they will just try to get away from the danger like the one in the video of the boat , start reading and watch more documentaries instead of watching movies , how old you? 15?

"Lost Trails, Lost Cities" published in 1953 tells the story of a British surveyor determining the boundaries of South American countries in the Amazon in 1924. He, Percey Fawcett, reported killing a 61" green anaconda. The local natives told him that an even larger different species of snake inhabited the rivers in the area.
@cmnieman16 жыл бұрын
You're telling me that this Belgian pilot that was almost attacked by the giant snake was flying one of 5 known helicopters that existed during World War 2?!?! No freaking way! Helicopters were in their infancy during World War 2 and I highly doubt that they were being used in a non combat area by that country. Maybe an airplane pilot took photo, but no way it was a helicopter.

@markellhubbard062 жыл бұрын

Isn't it strange how all of us fear them yet it's likely we will never come into contact with one in our entire lives? Unless we go the zoo or seek one out somehow. Maybe we just fear the unknown? Not sure what it is. But I still have nightmares of snakes and really struggle to look at photos unless I'm prepped beforehand. Just the image strikes fear in me that nothing else in my life has. I think it's through nurture; media like Indiana Jones or even James Bond, with men I've idolised, fearing or feeling threatened by snakes. Being raised Catholic and reading about snakes. Even the word makes me look twice around me. It's all very strange to me as no other creature frightens me the same way, giving me anxiety, nightmares, irrational thoughts. I hope one day I can help myself, I do think it'd be easier to just avoid certain places but it's just ridiculous now.
@sweetlohlah3 жыл бұрын
Snakes have a long been synonymous with serpents which since time of creation has been cursed to be enemies with Man. It also often tends to have spiritual significance. The fact that it was chronicled in the Bible that the devil chose to incarnate as a serpent might also be symbolic and a contributing factor. To be honest, they are frightening creatures.
@tomsmith52163 жыл бұрын
You've never lived in Texas or Alabama, I take it...they may not be anacondas or reticulated boas, but 6' + rattlesnakes and cottonmouths, and copperheads, are/were not uncommon when I lived there (I'm still in Texas).
@icebox19543 жыл бұрын
@@sweetlohlah Don't blame snakes for the frailty of the human mind. Religions make normal animals out to be evil or good based on nothing but ignorance and a fear of the unknown. Crocodiles are also frightening, but makes for good parents. Ducks seem cute but they gang rape.
@TexasLadyS2 жыл бұрын
Exactly what I was about to say! And don’t forget the rat snakes and water snakes. A Texas Rat Snake can grow up to 8’ in length. An 8’ rattlesnake was killed in the cemetery where my parents are buried. Sad that they didn’t let it go on its way. If you’ve never encountered a wild snake, you must have lived in a very urban area all your life. I feel bad for you.
