I have ordered from Josh's Frogs 2 times and they didn't include my complete order BOTH times. I had to call and send pictures and then wait another week for the missing stuff both times. Customer service was great but too annoying of a hassle to deal with again. Can't wait to see you build the new setup!

Reptilian Garden I messaged them and filed a claim with fedex because the heat packs were literally frozen so it wouldn’t surprising if they left it on the truck, the guy that delivered them didn’t ring the door bell or knock or anything so let us know our box of LIVE insects was out there.. luckily my dog barked at the truck so we looked to see what she barked at 😂

This is probably a dumb question but I was thinking about doing a bioactive enclosure but ppl said that other bugs spawn/grow (idk a word for it) inside the enclosure which made me change my mind cuz I hate bugs lol but I just wanted to know if that was true cuz your someone I trust for information on it🙂hope that makes sense

Emma Hey! I’m not sure what type of bugs they’re referring to.. 🤔 But sometimes fungi can grow and things. The best thing to do is make sure there is good ventilation in the enclosure and it all can air out. Another tip is to take a fork once a month and stick it in the substrate and let it breathe a bit while you mix it up. The springtails and isopods are so tiny and only eat waste, so you don’t have to worry about them escaping your enclosure or anything. 💕

Emma I do know that you can get wood mites from heavily misting an enclosure with wood. They’re called woodmites and they are extremely annoying. I got them using reptibark in a high humidity enclosure. 😅

I love how those enclosures are named “small”. I can’t remember which one it was I picked up for (I think) my tokay geckos. It did say “small”, but it’s taller than the one you have there. Anyway, it was so friggin’ heavy that I couldn’t even move it out of my driveway so I had to conceal it in a fort made of my trash cans. Not like my neighborhood is full of people looking to steal monstrously heavy reptile cages, but i wasn’t going to risk it. It lived out there for like a week before my boyfriend managed to get it in the house, then stayed in my foyer for about 2 months until we (he) wanted to deal with carrying it around on the stairs.
