Awesome! So cool you got to film this, I remember in the corporate video this truck just had the logo, interesting that they rebranded it, I wonder why. I guess Phoenix got only one, so they probably hated it. I wish we still had ours, even if it was a nightmare to use, a new truck was a new truck! Did the drivers give their opinion on it. I see the first one tried raising the arm a few times without extending the arm, resulting in that mast kickback, I guess you forget sometimes about that. Seeing this again, I realize yet again this arm has a terrible dump angle, it dumps the can way too close to the edge of the hopper resulting in more chances for spillage, the hopper guard doesn't help at all. I remember when I followed ours, it dropped so much material. The arm is messy picking stuff up and looks clunky..the concept is interesting but the arm definitely needed more tweaking. Glad this truck still lives on and hoping it stays that way. Is it me or does the arm looks like it's leaning a bit, I seen that issue with another SST video on here? Anyways, fun truck. If you have the chance to film it again please do!!

Heil has discontinued many products. The Multitask, multipack, 7000, 2000, & now this. Need better engineers.

Can’t believe they discontinued the multipack! Out here in Lexington, they run some multipacks, though a number of them have been sold. Within the three years living up here, they have also since bought pythons, but they need the multipacks really bad for the downtown routes. The side load is usually more efficient, but there’s also a lot of trees and power lines in some areas, so with the multipack, it’s a win-win.
