As an ex nurse this was a failure also by the hea,th care service who sent her away with the medication. I have worked in Women's health and follow up with 24/7 numbers and post US is normal practice. However I don't live in the US and there's no way that a hospital emergency would turn anyone away or hesitate. That is unconscionable.

Very true but the thing is these laws are the reason that instead of being able to just do their jobs they're constantly having to consider whether they're going to be sued or jailed. Doctors aren't lawyers. I wouldn't expect a firefighter to know the exact legal definition of breaking and entering, if there was a fire I would expect they'd be able to break down whatever door they need to, to do their job. I don't know why people think doctors are any different.

This is despicable and inexcusable, and upsets me so much on a personal level. I almost died from sepsis a few months ago, due to an infection in my own reproductive organs. It was unrelated to pregnancy, and it sickens me to think that the life-saving care I received would have been denied had that not been the case. And that "privelege" means that my that own 6-year-old still gets to have a mom, and hers doesn't. It's so heartbreaking and infuriating. F these monsters.

After a spinal fusion went south on me the er refused to give me any pain meds because they were worried about Soros going after them. I had to drive another hour to find a hospital willing to treat me. I stayed there 5 days for severe complications. The first doctor's were willing to let me die over pain meds
