@@tuberyou1149 you obviously don't understand. Let me explain. The D-28 is made from Brazilian rosewood that is in very limited supply. When Martin runs out, the D-28 will no longer exists. This also isn't a cookie cutter guitar. 100+ hours of work goes into one guitar, and the D-28 line has only three people building them. Three people that have honed their craft to be among the top instrument makers in the world. These are not just blocks of wood with strings. They are the highest quality instruments in the world as well as works of art. Had it been a mexico martin made we wouldn't be having this conversation. But the D-28 is a flagship of Martin's craftsmanship, tone and fine art. He wouldn't destroy his kids artwork what make it ok for him to destroy someone else's? Ownership doesn't equal disrespect.

Happy memorial day is valid to me (as someone who has lost someone in both Iraq and Afghanistan). Because it is that we were lucky enough to have those people who are willing to give their lives for us and I choose to celebrate because I know that that's what my loved ones who gave their lives would want me to do. I choose to celebrate and be happy and know that it's because of them that I am able to do those things so I take full advantage of the fact that I am able to be happy and celebrate and laugh an experience Joy because that's what I know my loved ones personally want me to do. But it's different for everyone.
