Polls are so inaccurate because they can use old information to get a result they want. Or they can never know for sure but they know pretty well how the result will look like. Like already the stats on "what age range of people do usually answer polls", what area votes what and so on. There is too much information out there already so they can manipulate the result by looking at the old information. Not to talk about all information that is gathered about us people every day that they probably have access too if they want. Polls are just a way for the media to try to manipulate you at least when they promote "their" favorite. Then do they even show polls that goes against their views or do they do enough so that one will have the message they want to send.

While Trump was president my water bill was $50, my electric bill was $80, I could fill up my gas tank with $260 and would spend $500 in groceries in a month. Now My water bill is $65, my electric bill is $120, my gas tank fills up with $420, I spend $620 in groceries in a month...but my salary hasn't gone up. I only have 1 child, but if I had a family of 4, I'd be in hot water. That is the REAL reason why my neighbors voted for Trump. They have this idea that he can make the economy go back to the way it was. I know Trump CAN'T make the economy go back to the way it was, and so long as God gives me free will, I will never vote for a convicted felon.

Even though the polls are favoring Kamala they seem skewed to me favoring Trump. Based on the previous election cycle he is in worse situation with several groups that he wasn't last cycle. First, with respect to gender, Trump is behind with women voters due to the Dobbs decision. Second, the Republican Party is significantly split against Trump, which was not the case in 2020. He also has issues with minorities specially with Puerto Rican Hispanics in major swing states in particular Pennsylvania. Alot of polls are not factoring that the comments that Trump made against hisppanics also affects him negatively with the Mexican American population. Why? There is a huge number of intermarriage between between these two groups in the U.S. Kamala will win by wider margins than the polls are showing in these sing States. Down ticket in Texas I believe you are going to see upset with Senator Cruz.
