@@leodesalis5915that’s actually a false misconception. Flame throwers became condemned worldwide ever since Vietnam and their usage is considered a war crime. They give a purely negative impression which is why China doesn’t use them despite having them in their modern military

@@ragemonster4277 there's a difference between internationally condemned and illegal by the rules of war, the use of incendiary weapons including flamethrowers is only illegal if being used in an area with a civilian concentration. Against a military target it isn't illegal hence why napalm and white phosphorous is still used against combat targets by some countries. The reason flamethrowers aren't really used today besides bad optics is they're not useful in modern engagements, you have to get way too close and you're way too much of a target and vulnerable.

Unfortunately, all the cool Lego sets have been discontinued and cost 200% more than they used to, and the newer sets are expensive as hell and not as good. Ppsst... *Whispers* "LEGO Creator" sets. All the theme, none of the IP branding = lower price per brick. I started collecting in the late 80s averaging $0.10 a brick (before Lego star wars and other tie-ins). Lego creator sets are still around $0.10 a brick avg even though the dollar is worth less than half what it was in 1990. Maybe you can't build Geonosis, but you can grow your creativity starting with smaller $10-$20 sets ❤️ And there's always bulk, used, or "no minifig" sets on Bricklink ❤️

No idea what the outcome was cuz I never checked back for an update but supposedly legoland was forced to remove any lego star wars rides from the parks cuz disney didn't like another company making money off their IP

@@RMIxSullied They knew they were doing a Second Invasion of Geonosis episode, but when George Lucas saw the script / storyboards of the first attempt he wasn't feeling it. He then went out and came back with DVDs of _Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, The Battle of The Bulge_ and _The Longest Day,_ and told the writing / production team to watch these, and then re-write it to be more like that. And it worked perfectly. We got the wonderful ep that was LAPR with all of the chaos of war, plans falling apart, everything. The moment I knew it was going to be a good war story came early on, when a clone said "Good thing those bugs can't aim" immediately followed by his ship being blown apart and everybody on board presumably killed.
