Really in For Honor if something is in s-tier the spam is very good because that's all you do in for Honor Spam one or two OP move(s) and kenseis kit has a lot of mix ups and characters that Ubisoft says has mix ups usually have one or two moves you will use for example gladiator Ubisoft says he's good for mix ups when he can't do as much mix ups as a vangaurd like kensei it is extremely disappointing and also for the kensei is balanced part kensei basically gets free reflex gaurd, nice and fast heavies that also are better than his zone attack for clearing out troops, a very unpredictable top light Dodge attack, a far reaching GB, and great top heavies that can go into a side light or the equivalent of a unblockable push. He basically has 3 times the amount of utility than every hero in the game Edit: also kenseis executions are the fastest in the game from what I have seen and besides kensei doesn't need a Nerf every single hero in the game needs a rework or buff

obligatory weeb interjection Those are called Sode, a variant of pauldron worn by Samurai in place of a shield. They often hung at the back or rear-side of the shoulder to reduce inhibitions to movement - and were primarily employed to deflect arrows instead of tank blows. None of the Samurai in For Honor wear my favorite set of armor - being a classic Oyoroi (great armor) which had a relatively blocky geometry to it, and employing the use of oversized Sode.
