I was in rockport 3 days before hurricane harvey hit and that is when me and my grandpa decided to leave rockport. This sound reminded me of it because the noises were happening alot. Rockport was right in the eye of the hurricane and it is slowly coming back. We live in key alegro and our roof was torn up pretty bad. But im greatful we were ok

Does EAS ever actually get activated for Hurricane Warnings? I know Tornado, Flash Flood, and Extreme Wind warnings do. Some NWS offices will also request activation for Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, and some on rare occasions may also do so for Blizzard Warnings.
