You have no idea how surprised and excited I was when I saw this video. I thought surely a video like this didn't exist for this specific song... but HERE YOU ARE. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!! This is tremendously helpful. I quite literally screamed when I saw this video.

Dude you are so good at making music its crazy. You actually get textures not just how something is placed in track and what notes used. Could you do something like Lucretio - Tell me (Warm sounds) Label. Trqck is so easy but so weird and good and whole sound of the label is crazy from Mr G. to John Swing and Battista. Very 90s old school analog sound that is little bit overdriven. Simple tracks but very good texture of sound for me personaly. Please do something like that. You allready did with this one but there are so manny great interesting artists with special sound like Audio Werner or MCDE. Thank you for these videos i been producing for 15 years and allways learn something from your videos. Tnx

Great stuff as always. Would love to see more Bonobo. There's plenty of stuff on Bonobo's 4/4 music out there, but not loads on the deeper cuts from North Borders or Migration. Like Sapphire, Jets, Figures, Ontario. I'd love to see some of that, or that rework he's playing in his DJ sets of Polyghost (would be difficult to fully decipher due to low audio quality though probably).

I'm not going to lie, Daphni was a niche choice, and Carry On was even more specific. Given the demand for requests, the chances of me getting around to doing another track on that album by that artist public video are slim to none!! Or it will take me nearly 2 years to get around to it! But of course, if you are enjoying the stuff I'm putting out, and feel it's time to make a contribution back, you should email me for a 1-on-1 lesson, mate!

A Todd Edwards remake would be amazing. Maybe The Chant or Wishing I Were Home. Although, I imagine his style would be a huge headache to replicate.

Hey, thanks so much! Does this kind of kick hit fine in big PA?
@hollowgroundproductions7 ай бұрын
Depends on your own expectations in regards to how hard a kick needs to hit before you feel it!! Also, it's a genre thing. Even in the original track, the double barrel kick/tom format makes the track an ideal opening track for a warm up set at a venue that plays chilled lofi house or disco house. Maybe every country is different, but I can't see any dj putting this track on at a time where they expect people to dance.. it has the whiff of "open air, dj stand to the left, bar to the right, nice tunes and drinks while people chat and wait for the DJ to play something they can dance to" about it! I love the track, but in London, you play this while the floor is still empty and people are still chatting!
