So good the director knows his shit and really captured loneliness , it hits to hard especially when she’s eating the chocolates for comfort And the line about “everything is alright in the end” and the hope and faith which goes with it to deny

One problem with this scene is Heroin makes you're pupils smaller, and when you're withdrawing it makes them bigger!
@screweduptexas Жыл бұрын
The first few seconds your pupils dilate because of the dopamine but that's it. Mine would atleast.
@ivan00001983 Жыл бұрын
@@screweduptexas I never noticed it, could be... those first few seconds - that taste appears in the mouth and then sedation and pinpointed pupils and eyes rolling back. When I saw people in that state I thought - man I won't ever be like that - and then few years after I was like that, stuff was addictive asf.

This scene gave me a flurry of emotions from , laughter , somewhat happiness to deep introspection and sadness. Watching this on meth is intense. Lots of nuances and subtle aspects overlooked and underlooked by most people.

Meth doesn't give you any "advantage" over "most people". Didn't you get the point of the movie?

Don’t miss the days of heroin, meth or coke addiction. I know lotta ppl think this movie was an extreme scare tactic but I lost my husband to heroin & this movie was BEFORE PURDUE Rx made most of the Country a drug store junkie 💀💉👿😑

Harry had his fate coming to him. I was always disgusted with him on how he treats his mother and how he willingly prostituted Marion. Plus he was a grown man who knew what he was shooting in his arm. So yeah, he kinda deserved losing his arm. But Sara on the other hand was innocent. All she wanted was to lose a little wieght to feel better about herself and be on a stupid TV show.

I agree. Harry was a scumbag. And I'm glad he lost everything. His dream was at the expense of everyone else. he was a loser.
