There all just cool people!! They really are the supergroup of bluegrass! Nit sayin they are necessarily better individually, just as a band collectively. But, they are all great musicians and singers. Adding Jerry was incredible ! I've seen Jerry, Alison and Dan at the transatlantic sessions. Don't know if the others have been involved. If you wanna hear a totally awsome rendition of " boy who wouldn't hoe his corn" , look it up at the Transatlantic sessions here on KZbin. Dan and Jerry along with folks from Ireland and Scotland musicians. Blew my mind!! Dan had a smile from ear to ear!!

How could I NOT love THIS video..... Scotish/Irish roots on Mama's side.... German on Daddy's side. (That makes me "Germish", I guess!!) And ADD Alison, Jerry Douglas, and Union Station!! No video, for me, could be much more enjoyable. Hearing Alison Krauss and the gang over in the Irish/Scottish land where my Mama's roots are. (Which makes me have the SAME roots) I LOVE Irish/Scottish Music and Musicians/Singers, very much, TOO!!! I LOVE seeing Alison having SO MUCH FUN!!!

I'm always blown away by the little gems like this that one can run across on KZbin - usually quite by accident. Love Alison; always have. And what a treat to see the playful, beautiful, free-spirited side of Alison you would not necessarily get to see while she is on stage performing. The music that comes out of her with Union Station is sublime. All amazingly talented musicians but Jerry Douglas is just beyond special.

Thank you for posting this, it just came up on my suggested list last night. There is very little out there from the "Lonely Runs Both Ways" era of the band, one or two clips from their "Austin City Limits" show from then, and that's about it. Everyone interested better rip it to your hard drive while you can. Rounder seems to not like shows like this staying up on KZbin for long. They've taken down her "Crossroads" CMT show with Robert Plant more than once. Truly a lovely and gracious lady, and that is about all you ever hear anyone say about her, which is really rare in show business.
@paulw.woodring73043 жыл бұрын
@Alison Krauss Nice try, but I'm not falling for it. Few in country music are as private as Ms. Krauss and that is not a message she would ever put out on a public platform.

And she is one Gorgeous Lady. No matter how she looks. Just her Band and a Mic, thats all she needs. April 19th. 2021. Just watched this show again. She is precious. She doesnt actually need any makeup either. The band is so cute together. I could probably acquire a taste for that music if I listened to it more.

@Alison Krauss I would love that very much, if this is really Alison Krauss. And if it is no insult intended. I've got a few comments on my tablet that were jokes that really p---ed me off, one being my all time favorite male singer Neil Diamond. So you can imagine how that made me feel. But I'm going to go with yes, it is you because your picture is with the comment. So yes it will also be my honor to receive anything you want to send, as you are my favorite female singer. I never had a favorite female singer until I heard you sing. But I will admit it's only been the last 7 or 8 years ago that I first heard you sing . I never was into Bluegrass music and never listened to it. But I was running the dial on my TV and there you were singing. What a voice! I've been listening ever since. I also love your duets with Vince Gill. Even though it's only been about 8 years, if I had a dollar for every time I played one of your songs I'd be rich. Especially "Dream of Me" I love that song. You sang it on the Ellen show. I have a Playlist on my tablet with a lot of your songs which I play constantly. You deserve every one of your awards. I loved watching your trip to Ireland. That is one of the countries I would love to visit before I die. The scenery is gorgeous. Thanks again for the comment. And you can believe I will always be a Alison Krauss fan, whether it's you or not. Oh! I forgot. You're Bass player is also Gorgeous!😄😄😄😄 And I love that deep voice of his, very sexy. And he doesnt even know it. Thats why I love those people, no pretence.
