Hi Eli 👋🏻 I’m so very pleased to see you complete your “Monster Mysteries” doll series. They look so gorgeous together. I had to screenshot them so I can have the pictures to drool over later on. You did such an excellent job on Draculaura’s rerooted hair. I would feel tempted to stroke it & brush it all day long. I like the waist chain how it just says “Drac” for short because that’s what nickname I always like to call her. It’s so hard to pick a favorite out of these four now. I think I liked each of them equally as much! I’m just awe-inspired by you. I want to be the craftsperson that you are & revel in the creative aspect of enjoying my dolls. I definitely agree that the play line dolls reign supreme & are very alluring. I hope I can collect more someday! I’m just preoccupied with expanding on my g1 collection at this particular moment. There’s just so many lines I never got to complete. It’s a lot but, I feel like it’s going to be well worth it in the end. Thank you for having me here & congratulations on reaching 5k subscribers. Great job Eli! I absolutely agree with embellishing and making the doll your own. These are mass produced, identical and I feel like you just bond more with the doll when you add your own personal touch. Like you make sugar cookies and they come out of the oven identical, but once they're decorated, they become like snowflakes, no two look the same.

once again, amazing reroot and painting work! 😍 drac is such a pretty doll in g3 but your extra touches made her absolutely stunning! i’m really excited about skulltimate 6 giving us another catty and another frankie, just wish mattel would quit with the poly hair already. 😩 even so, i think skulltimate secrets continues to knock it out of the park every time. i preordered welcome committee frankie back in july and amazon tells me the ship date is nov 23, i hope that actually happens 😬

AHH I should! I’ve shown it in a couple of my previous vids when I have needle break, but I just take like a wrench that has the snippers in the middle and clip the end of the needle at an angle so it can pick up the hair. Hopefully that makes any sense 😅 And that is an extra Monster Ball Drac, she’s just de-tinseled and has pigtails

Do you apply something like varnish after painting the dolls accessories? Or do just leave it like that?

Sometimes, it depends how I’m feeling! For metallic paints or the sparkly dragonfly glaze, I usually don’t seal them with a varnish. For acrylic paint I have been leaning towards sealing with a matte or gloss varnish, usually slightly diluted with water. I did actually go back and seal the black paint on Drac’s headpiece and chest plate after this vid just to be safe If you’re painting an accessory that touches the dolls body like a purse, bag, icoffin etc. I would def seal that with varnish bc the paint can rub off and transfer.

I actually was inspired by watching doll content on KZbin, it’s kind of intimidating and takes some money and effort to start but once you get it going it becomes second nature. Lately I’ve done so many rerooting vids that I am trying to streamline the videos so some details might be fuzzy but I have tons of other vids rerooting that you can check out too!

The colors matches you can barely see the changes I guess because the colors blend well to her. Ughhhhhhh I want to have monster high dolls too, 🥲 gosh here in the Philippines skulltimate dolls ranges 60-65$ or more😥😥😥. I hope there's a kind reviewer to throw giveaways.
