Willow Street fire company is without a doubt, the most professional and well-trained volunteer fire department.I have had the pleasure to watch.I don't understand why they aren't paid

Ok to the Aholes who bitch about the travel time from Willow Street to Columbia. It takes longer than that on a good day.. The point is, they were called, they responded!!!

I love these ride-along videos as I don’t see too many of them so your channel is definitely different from the others I watch. And thank you for your response to these calls. You travel a long distance to act as backup to closer fire stations and I’m sure the firefighters on scene thank you as well. Keep these response videos coming!

So you didn't see flames. So what? The point is Willow Street Fire Co volunteers were among several companies that responded to this massive antiques wharehouse fire. They were doing their job! Sadly, many vendors lost entire stocks of irreplaceable antiques as this historic building was a total loss. Thankfully, all souls were safe.

I'm sorry not a big fan of that power call siren sounds like a house alarm. Give me the good old fashion q air horns and the other sirens
@fireflames-ue2gm3 ай бұрын
The powercall is traditional about as much as the q siren. I like to cycle through different tones based on the situation but I have noticed our hi-lo gets a lot of attention.

21 minute response time is too far to send a unit even if it is a mutual aid call. If your districts are that far apart you need more fire levy's to build more stations.
@Brian135493 ай бұрын
Hell in the town I worked in it took 20 minutes to get to the farthest part of town and that was going at a good speed. And this call wasn't probably In Their town and maybe the town Their going to doesn't have a lot of call volume to warrant have tons of fire stations. Plus if it's volunteer then there might not be enough people to fill those stations and this says 3rd Alarm so the closest stations to this town are probably all ready there so the 3rd Alarm companies are farther away.
