Massive 3-Alarm Blaze Consumes Building in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., June 4 (KNN) - A massive blaze engulfed a building in the city of Bakersfield late Monday night.
The Bakersfield Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire with visible flames showing from the rooftop around 11:39 p.m. in the 600 block of 19th Street.

Abandoned building? If that's the case, someone left a lot of money worth of antiques inside the building. My grandpa used to collect antiques. He had more than 5,000 sq feet of them. He didn't own a store, he just collected them. He had more than 50 Victrola phonographs.... Very cool. Unfortunately, most antiques are made from combustable and flammable materials. Back then they made things with pride and used quality wood, etc. Either way, this is sad to see. A lot of history went up in flames when this building went up with it. I sure hope some idiot arsonist didn't set it
