You are right about him helping you to stay out of the hospital. Ostomy patients spend up to 3 or more hospital stays a year. I was able to keep my Mom down to 2, but she never accepted it. I am happy you have this little guy to keep you balanced. After my Mom passed I rescued a sweetheart to help me cope with losing my Son and both parents in a 5 year time span. You never get over the loss of your child but God's grace keeps me going.

I fostered a tiny chihuahua that was abandoned outside when her family moved. By the time the neighbors noticed her she had injured her eye. It had to be removed. It just broke my heart into a million pieces. After surgery she was adopted by the sweetest family and now has two furry sisters.

OMG, he looks exactly like my Chihuahua I can’t believe people just upped and left him, that cry is heartbreaking because I know the sound! My beautiful Chihuahua was from a travellers site, they just took their caravans away and left him, I don’t know why they thought to just get rid of him, my little chap is so important to us, he is never left alone I don’t work as I have lost my leg and lung capacity from COVID so my husband works from home and my two adult sons live at home so he is always with a family member! I love him to the moon and back, we got him a little girl companion ( he has been done). She loves him I’m not sure if the love goes back towards her because he loves people! ❤
