I don't understand any reason to use horse to plough this day and age . It is absolutely cruel .
@Ariella-mx3xq4cw6n8 ай бұрын
@@florac6906 He would probably be used as a carriage horse. Belgium's are the plough horses. It's their job. What they were bred for. As for the Armish too many of them treat their horses badly. It is the way they treat them, not the fact they use them for what they were bred for that is the problem. They do not get veterinary help when it's need and carry on working them until its too late to treat them. Or are old. Then the horses end up in the slaughter pipe line. The slaughter pipe line is terrible. Something I've learned a lot about from Horse Plus Rescue. Its nothing like sending a horse to an abattoir in the UK.
@Miss.kittty8 ай бұрын
Yes, I've heard they're very cruel. Animals are just things to them.

I have heard those gossiping lies about the Amish, too. However none of you have any experience with the Amish. You just listen to the second hand lies and gossip.
@SeanY-n4y8 ай бұрын
I'm not a fan of the level, or lack thereof, of care given to horses that came from the Amish that I work on. However, this is a Standardbred racehorse, not a thoroughbred. I had a barn of standardbred racehorses (both pacers and trotters) on my book until gas went up and it was too far to travel. Thoroughbreds would likely do very poorly as cart horses on the road, and not saying it's right, but these standardbreds are raced pulling a person on hard surfaces, so at least they are as prepared for that rough life better than what most think of as a "racehorse."

Not for the first time that I've seen a big horse, hurt, discarded and rescued after the amish used them. I'm just happy that some animals are lucky to be rescued after they've been used and have no more value for those that treat animals like machines or something to profit from. But even more lucky, they get you visiting! Your calm demeanor really helps, plus we all learn alot from you 😊❤

You can hear the energy? Interesting claim.
@Queenofgreen5156 ай бұрын
@@reikishaman Indeed it is. I actually grew up without it and woke the ability in my mid twenties. It was like going from blindness to full colour! My favourite bit is being able to communicate telepathically with animals though. That and astral travel! Everyone has the gift but sadly not everyone wakes it and trains it or we would all be able to easily do such things!
@FracturedOrigins4 ай бұрын
It's definitely not "telepathy"... the horse is picking up on body language clues. I think it's very sweet you think that you can hear or see "energy" through a video, but most sentient beings subconsciously pick up on body language, sounds, prior experience etc. It's called "instinct". There's a very real, biological reason for this: survival.
