If you feel treating another creature like that is so bad, why are you willing to do it?
@pianoboylaker65602 жыл бұрын
I know how you feel, but you can't say that without knowing the reason why. Perhaps the owner was elderly, infirm or mentally ill and didn't realise what was happening. The owner may have needed help and there wasn't anyone around TO help. It is possible that the owner was in a worse state than their horse. Who knows? But what we do know, is that the horse was found before it was too late to do anything and had to be put down. It now has a good home and is getting the love it deserves. There are many people out there that don't get any help or love at all. It takes a tragedy like this to open people's eyes to what is going on around them. That old man or woman shuffling along with a wearied gate, that scared, bedraggled child sitting against the wall, perhaps a tear in their eye. Do they need help? Please, don't just walk passed. Ask them if they're all right, do they need help? If you don't care to get involved, the least you can do is phone the authorities and tell them what you see. It only takes a minute to save a life or prevent another disaster. A child that looks in distress may be the victim of abuse. Remember! A kind word beats a beating.

Ignorance! Many people are so misinformed about the amount of work that comes with owning horses! Theirs a common misunderstanding right in the comments! Horses cost thousands of dollars! I see that one a lot. The truth is that you can often find horses cheap! I have one right now that was a whopping $300.00. The cost of actually getting a horse can be cheap. The real cost is in the upkeep! Food, vet, farrier, housing, training, truck and trailer, maintaining the truck and trailer, manure disposal! Then theirs The cost of purchasing tack that fits both the horse and rider. The bills never stop coming. I see cases like this guy who was probably bought by someone who really wanted a horse but made a bad decision in choosing the correct horse for their skill level. They get in over their heads, don’t ask for help, and it’s the animal that pays. This animal likely figured out he could dominate the owner, owner likely got scared/injured so they left the animal in the stall. They would throw feed, water but all other aspects of the care stopped. The thing is that with proper retraining some of these animals can be rehabbed like this guy but others will always revert back to their former lives/early training. I like to invite people over to clean pens with me when they are thinking of getting a horse. 90% will clean one pen maybe 2 and change their minds. Those that stick with it and want to continue usually end up taking some lessons through me.

I'll admit, I giggled watching him walk funny at the end, but I think that's honestly because of the relief of seeing him be able to do so once more. Sometimes happiness can trigger laughter.

The accused of this kind of ill treatment with the horse must be punished severely. This is completely inhuman treatment with the innocent horse which is unjustified and immoral. Millions of thanks to this young girl who has given a new life to this horse.
