Rescue Kitten Having Seizure | Menyelamatkan Anak Kucing Kejang

This video is about rescuing seizure little kitten. This event was shocking me and also giving me some new knowledge about cats. Apparently, the kitten got heat stroke which the condition that i just knew during this rescue.
This channel is about my cats who lived in my home. They are Tommy (14 years old), Simba (8 years old) and Jimmy (1 year old) and also other stray cats that roaming around my neighborhood. You will find drama and funny stuff about cats in this channel.

I'm actually REALLY surprised to see so many people that didn't know cats had seizures too. Any animal with a brain can have a seizure as it is just the misfire of the brain's "electrical system" so to speak. So your video is educational not only because it teaches people that cats have seizures, but also because it actually shows what a cat having a seizure looks like. Great job handling everything and so amazing of you to take these kitties and their mama in. What an AWESOME person you are!

It’s still so sad to see them like that though. In so much pain & don’t know what’s happening at the moment. Fortunately it doesn’t seem to shorten their lifespans (but of course it depends on the kind of seizure)

My first cat Tyger developed auditory induced seizures late in life. I discovered it one day by accident and was terrified. I held him as he spasmed uncontrollably for about a minute. Afterwards he was shaking and breathing hard and I was terrified. I later discovered that short, ticking noises such as a clicker, or using your tongue to make a 'ticking' noise would at first cause a short muscle spasm, as if you'd startled him. But it wasn't that he was startled. Repeated noise in quick succession would induce the seizure. A vet could never explain how this reaction developed, only tell me to avoid that (duh!).

I learned in a Kitten Lady video that kittens don't naturally regulate their body temperature when they're that young, so they are more susceptible to temperature-related illnesses. She always talked about them getting too cold, but it seems that being too warm would occur as well!

One of my girls started out life with seizures. It was a long hard road. When I got her spayed, the seizures stopped. She is 9 years old and is healthy again.

Oddly enough being neutered can trigger seizures in males. Some claim they need to have preexisting conditions though.

Thanks a lot! My cat's been having seizures(for a very brief period like 3-5seconds) and I didn't know it's a seizure because I haven't seen a cat's seizure before. Also because of this video I think i now know what's been the cause. The room where the kittens are kept(two of them and they are blind so I can't let them out just anywhere) it gets quite hot during the day because of the roof being pretty low and they are kept on my bed, so that's a down side as well. I'll shift their place to some cold place and on the floor as well. Thanks a lot! Because of this strict lockdown I'm not able to go to the vet.

Any kittens or cats that are to be fostered should never be in extreme heat ever!! They do however, need to be kept warm. That sun room or closed in porch wasn’t good because the sun is in there all the time when it’s out and also, wherever you live and if you have been dealing with extreme heat, don’t let them be exposed to it at all. Also, when Winter China mes around and you have extreme Winter temps, also keep them very warm because they can have hypothermia very easy and die from it just like major heat. The heat cause a heat stroke in my opinion to that kitten. I’m so thrilled that the kitten got better and is or was back with mom cat and she wanted to give him milk. I’m thrilled for them all and wish them much success and a happy life too. I hope they all do get adopted too. God bless and thanks for fostering cats and kittens too.
