Funny you point out the irony of the no princess left behind bit, a big part of the show is the fact hypocrisy exists on both sides.

So many of the princesses don't have to recharge their powers, because they are the sole person with a connection to their particular gem. Glimmer's gem is also connected to her mother, so neither one of them has a full connection to it, and therefore they have to be near it to be charged. Adora's sword is a separate entity from the gems, and so its rules are different. Without saying too much, basically it was retrofitted to the same magic system the gems were always a part of: it was man-made rather than grown from the earth itself.

It is interesting that they also have the horde have these bonds and friendships too and that the princesses friendship doesn’t really extend to those on the other side. Kyle really wanted to get that friendship from bow and the princess side but the entire time bow was super disinterested and it was played off as a gag that he’s not even paying attention just doing whatever to try and escape.

entrapta is the oldest out of all the princesses at around like 30 years old (if i remember correctly) which is why she sounds older than the rest of them

I believe that is what the character designer said they drew her to look like, so it's sort of a semi-canonical statement. There aren't actually any explicitly canonical ages except for Frosta, but it's fair to assume Entrapta is indeed older than the other princesses except maybe Perfuma.

Personally, they failed to make it clear that Entrapta was "gone" because I ended the episode just like you guys being confused that "Huh? wdym gone?" My point is the writer/director failed to make it an impactful enough scene to make it clear that they thought she died in there. Everything was too fast-paced in the latter half. I know it is obvious she doesn't die but at least make the audience feel what the other characters feel, which at that moment should be shock and loss.
