These people did the "right" thing. Kudos 👍 to these nice people who did the best for this wild animal!

@Tammy McCord see if there are any primate or exotic pet rescues near you to volunteer at. Of course in the beginning or possibly for the long haul you wouldn’t be handling them, as courses and training are required but you could still help with their care in so many different ways! I am blessed with that chance opportunity BUT just forewarn since we are in the United states most of what you will be seeing are mostly older primates who are retired and/rescued from research labs who went thru hell during animal testing and trials, OR ones who started off as pets whose owners didn’t think this serious decision to own one for the long haul and dumped the monkeys there (those are the worst people, they don’t think about the incredible cost and upkeep, they don’t think about the monkey growing up and hitting puberty and neutering & they are so much like us they bond with their human parents and they suffer from separation anxiety and heartbreak. When they are adopted you are truly adopting a child in every sense of the word) then there are those who were adopted but were seized due to reports of abuse and neglect and injuries. Again how people do these things escapes me and truly pains me. But even if you’re doing grunt work such as cleaning cages, meal prep or whatever help the sanctuary needs, knowing each individual little soul and their own individual sad stories you really don’t mind doing anything and for that matter it’s an honor knowing you are a part of something bigger than yourself and how much they need your help - truly fulfilling!!

What a loving family & such an important, yet emotional & difficult, lesson for the little boy. One could tell that he really loved the baby howler. Perhaps when the little boy grows up, wouldn’t it be wonderful if he started rescuing other orphan babies. Blessings to those who care for the defenseless & our babies. ❤️🇺🇸🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🇺🇸❤️

There are lots and lots of animal lovers in these cruel world. I for one. There are lots of rich people who give donations to animals. Like Doris Day , i read that she was an animal lover. She donated most of her money to the animals. Etc. etc. etc. This is only one of the examples.I love animals more than humans sometimes.Because they love you unconditionally. And they cannot defend themselves.

Makes ya wonder why a healthy pregnant mother gives birth and then suddenly turns ill and dies (we assume) and leaves a perfect newborn alone ... and how convenient is it that camera men and multiple others (chatter is heard in the background) are on that specific scene / time to retrieve the newborn monkey as it is born and falls from the tree ?? and carrying it off to whomever $$$ ... The usual kill the mom and take the baby ... shameful the way these poacher describe themselves as saviors

It’s really not these type of people who are traffickers. They all seem to have sincere concern for the animal and a good personal relationship with it. It’s the adults who dress them up and enforce unnatural behaviors on them that need to be stopped! They film primate infants being teased with milk when they’re starving. It’s done so casually and so often the monkey doesn’t even drink when the bottle is put in his mouth. He turns away and screams and cries, getting some comfort from smaller infants who share his plight. They are in a constant state of trauma. and of course it’s all filmed and used as a money maker. This family is the opposite of that.
