Rescue of Seal Wrapped In Fishing Line

We would not have made it to the seal in time on foot. Therefore, we had to drive in to give us the best chance. We are glad we found him early enough to prevent serious pain and injury, but we are disheartened by the fact that fishermen don't seem to consider animal entanglements an issue. Old and damaged fishing lines, ropes, nets, etc, are thrown overboard without afterthought. Who is supposed to clean up their mess?

@@OceanConservationNamibiait's terrible what's been allowed to happen to the oceans, as well as rivers and lakes inland. massive garbage dumps floating in the oceans, and tons of plastic litter on beaches. even the rivers and lakes that are left to collect garbage and to build up, making everything else around the area look just as bad. all these government officials turn a blind eye to what's going on, even the fact that some of these countries just have dump trucks, pull up to an embankment, then dump the garbage straight into the water. they have the attitude of, out of sight out of mind😡😡. i don't think they will care until the problem of waste has become too overwhelming, and they won't be able to ignore it, and they will be forced to clean up the mess that was created😡😡😡 then again i could be wrong, and these governments will find another excuse not to do anything at all😡😡😡😡😡

Ці хлопці- рятувальники просять відмовитись від споживання дикої риби, тому що масштабний рибний промисел надзвичайно жорстокий до мешканців океанів і під час риболовлі промисловці сітки і ліску просто скиають у океан, що дуже шкодить усьому підводному світу на жаль. У тенета попадають усі види підводних мешканців і багато тварин гине без порятунку

Purtroppo con i nostri salvataggi non stiamo risolvendo il problema, ma trattando solo i sintomi della crisi della plastica. L’obiettivo di questi video è mostrare le conseguenze di questo inquinamento e creare un cambiamento per affrontarne le radici, vale a dire la nostra dipendenza dalla plastica monouso, la mancanza di forze dell’ordine in mare e le carenze dell’industria del riciclaggio.
