Hello Alex, I really like the work you do. I like this way of passing knots. I would like to ask you a question, please, I would like to know your opinion on passing the knots with the Taz Lov3 device, lengthening it to the height of the arms with the 60cm + - ,Sewn Sling. It doesn't convince me very much🤔... but they bought it from two colleagues and they don't stop hitting me on the head...🤣🤣🤣 sorry my bad english, I don't know if everything is understood... Thank you very much.🙏

I think I understand. Might be a good technique. Would you put the new descender on the same rope as the Taz and underneath the knot? Seems like a good way. Ill have to try it first to be sure though

An example... I descend with ID, before reaching the knot I place the extension with the Taz Lov3, I transfer the weight to it, remove the ID and put it under the knot, activate the Taz. If you try it, I would like your opinion. Yes, it works, but it needs more attention than another method, (this is my discussion with my colleagues)... without more importance, it is another way to pass the knot with a casualty. Thanks Alex@@TheRopeAccessChannel

Why do you need the second Butterfly over the first?
@TheRopeAccessChannel

You need to move one of the knots up so you can just rope to rope transfer underneath. Like I say in the video, you could also make the loop of the damaged part of the rope bigger instead of tying a second butterfly. Does that make sense?

you also need to account for slack in the unweighted line if its a long line.. Ive been on 30 /40 storey buildings and transferred on to my back up to pass a knot just like this about 3 quarters the way down and there was wayyyy more slack than i thought. Felt like at least 10 feet maybe more .
