If anything happened to the primary rope then both the rescuer and the person being rescuer and the person being rescued are hanging from the rear of the rescuers harness. How does the rescuer get himself out of that one. Also, all that weight is taken on the rescuers harness from the rear connection to the front, potentially making it difficult for the rescuer to breathe. I also like the way the shock loading is omitted from the video, when the victims strap is cut. Think I'll stick with the IRATA training videos.

While rescue you have given only one point of contact but to my knowledge it should be minimum 2 kindly clarify.

These oval shaped carabiners are not worth buying.They look fine until you are really in danger,the biner expands even with 8kn of force(in case there is a fall and the person is in static rope).If the screwgate is fully tightened(may God save you!) you won't be able to open as it is jammed now,you will need pliers to open.So what I do is..I don't tighten it to full but leave last few threads free,so even even if it expands..I can open the gate of the Biner,but then What is the use of any locking carabiner if I hv to leave the screwgate loose. Don't sell such products and play with our lives.
