Jenna&Anya Yeah, but a burn is likely needed every few years if it’s anything like our Chaparral. Fertilizes the soil etc.

Welcome to the diabetic call! "Did you eat anything today sir or madame? No. Ok....well, how about we hook you up to some D10..." And no tools to dig line with.... Geniuses those kids. Put that whole flight crew at risk.

Quite strange isn’t it that a “wild” fire started right next to the stranded men that close to when the chopper arrived?!?!?! I think this was started by the men and I am really curious if they fessed up about it!!!!!
@amandasnider26443 жыл бұрын
What probably happened was they might have had a small fire overnight that they thought was "dead" in the morning. The helicopter stirred up the embers underneath that were still slowly burning and suddenly added oxygen and spread them to dry underbrush. Boom. Bush fire

I kept forgetting that they use casualties much differently than we do in the U.S. I always think everyone died.

I know what you mean......its the fact that they make out that the Poms are our ONLY emergency responders.....

The series was originally made for British television - I think it was originally transmitted on the BBC. It would certainly fit with the BBC's "Wanted Down Under" - a series about families considering emigrating to Australia. Certainly as a Brit I'm in no doubt that the majority of emergency workers in Australia are Australian born.

David Wood I’d rather have someone as an emergency responder that I can understand, Then someone I can’t. I’m not racist but most hospitals have Language restricted medical personnel. I’m also a Registered Nurse + Midwife

Okay how did the bushfire start at 4:50 mins? The kids look totally unaware of it, and it was not noticeable from the air when they are flying in to the location. A Spark from the equipment or just aided by the hovering helicopter?

I have the orienteered in this area,my question be why would a diabetic not travel with insulin,I find that strange.Did I also not hear that the camera crew was lifted out due to the danger,probably channel 7 chopper.A fire suddenly started?No weather no lightning and that area has very little or no broken glass (magnify effect ).I have watched quite a few of these episodes and this one is my last,am calling FAKE on this one.That fire burnt for over a week and wasted the time and resources of a few different agencies also add the loss of animal life just for a set up scenario that got out of control.How do I know that well lets say I know the area and am a first responder,as in a real one.May I add I now live remote rural off grid and all these uploads deal with coastal response a task they excel under circumstances that most civilians would lay down and die,no offence meant to the personnel manning these units ,maybe they should look at the RFDS (Royal Flying Doctor Service) that cover inland remote rural.Just a thought but then again I guess a series about the actual vastness of Australia without the coastal city landmarks would not attract the same attention nor advertising revenue,but I digress I do that ...........................
