Rescue the Perishing

My 88 year old Mum has dementia and her life has changed so much. She still loves the Lord with all her heart but cannot really follow sermons, newer songs and prayers in church. And yet she can still remember many passages of Scriptures she memorised long ago and the wonderful traditional hymns of old. Thank you so much for singing these hymns so beautifully, they bring her much joy as she sings along.

My mother, when we were children, had us memorizing verses, so that we can quote Bible verses in certain situations when we don't have our Bibles handy. She also sang hymns everyday, I could sing 90% of the songs in the hymnal before I could recite my alphabet! Best mother in the world!

I just realized. This brother of ours has literal perfect pitch, I didn't get why he could sing in all tones, but he literally has perfect pitch. Amazing. GOD is good

He's a musician . You practice reading the music , usually with a piano accompaniment to get the right pitch and time.

Its Relative pitch that is required while Singing, cause its understanding relationship of the notes that causes the harmony. Perfect Pitch or Absolute Pitch only helps to know " What Pitch". Relative Pitch helps you to sing " which pitch" to sing with the other pitches. Also the Parts are not sung literally simultaneously, they are recorded one track after the other on a DAW. Nevertheless its hard work. Kudos to this brother who took tge hardcwork and efforts to record the Videos and Audio for Gods Glory.

This is heavenly music. Thank you for blessing the saints with these great hymns of old. I think the church would be greatly blessed to use these old Gospel hymns along with modern praise hymns. It would be tragic if to be relevant to a dying culture the church abandons these old great hymns.

Beautiful hymn! Reminds me of how I was so backslidden and led astray by the Vatican and Vatican daughter denominations and pentecostal cult as well as living in perpetual sin but the Lord still had mercy and long suffering. Glory to God for the King James Bible and true believers.
