Hello, at 4:15 in the video, did you ever manage to find out what was going on there? I have scrutinized the internet to find the answer to my problem. The 'knob stitch size' + 'quick reverse' is turning but the size of the stitches remains tiny. The clasp that looks like a 'U' and holding the small metallic cube doens't move even when turning the knob. Any thoughts, ideas, solutions are very welcome. And thank you for these great videos by the way.

Best is to completely disassemble and thoroughly clean. However, I've been able to successfully use either Dollar Tree Baby Love oil or Unscented Lamp Oil from Walmart to soak literally and then massage the mechanics until they eventually move throughout their range of motion. Focused heat from a heat source like a hair dryer might help as well to loosen up and get moving wiping off what comes out and soaking again until only needs the oil.

@anawoodsen8 kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4urdnhvaNeKgJI Might be of more help to detail? Check down in the description of each video for the subsequent video. Did wind up loosening and cleaning up with the lamp oil.

@@jafinch78 I will give it a try. I'm just very nervous to dismantle my machine and not be able to put it back together correctly with all the internal settings in order. Thank you very much for your reply.

@@HunteSnoden If you have the time, like I did, just be patient and use the unscented lamp oil and massage the mechanism back and forth with your hand until after a few days, weeks or even month the mechanism is free moving with the buttons. That's what I would do. Your very welcome and thank you!
