Dog Rescue Shelter received a call and footage early in the morning, about an abandoned dog living in the bushes with newborn puppies. The lady who called said that she could hear puppies in the bushes.

This just broke my heart, mama doing her best, and still not able to feed and care for her babies. This is evil, complete and utter disregard for the lives we are supposed to treasure. Evil is the only explanation for dumping a pregnant dog in the bush.

There are laws in some states that will punish owners for abandoning fur babies. Cruelty to animals is a punishable offense, too. Oklahoma is one of those states.

@@kathleenrodrigues8453 I’m in california, there are laws the insist that chickens be cage free. Animal cruelty is a steep penalty here as well. 597 in the penal code, cruelty, torcher, injury, death, carries a penalty of up to 3 years in prison. I think that’s a little mild, but its a start.

I remember that ever since I was six years old, I have dedicated my time to feeding, caring for, and loving many street dogs, and I continue to do so. I vividly recall one day after school, at age six, I had two dogs at the time Charlie and Lady. That day I saw Charlie one of the street dogs running towards me very happy to see me, however,. Tragically, a car ran him over on his belly on his way to me. Miraculous, he got up and walked over to about forty feet to me to lick me goodbye before dying. This memory still brings tears to my eyes, even after 43 years ago that this happened. God Bless this dog and every dog and animal in need.
