Rescued Audi TT MK1 - Building a racecar! PT1

In PT1 I fit an ebay special 3" downpipe to try and clear the gasses through a little quicker, improve performance and of course try and make it sound better...
We bought an abandoned Audi TT and i know a lot of channels use the term abandoned but genuinely this was on its way to the scrap yard when i brought it! Lets see how much work were got in front of us to
1) Make it Road legal again and
2)Turn it into an absolute weapon of a car!

Fun video! Seems like a pretty messy job but worth it. I am in the same boat as you with mine: make it road legal, make it track worthy. But yes.. real men work on cars in croc’s.

Croc brothers in arms 💪 I’m welding in mine currently 😂 it’s not too bad just need to be methodical about it in reflection I wouldn’t have dropped the subframe completely..

Mines currently off having the Abs sorted. Turns out previous owner put a fwd auto abs in a manual Quattro. (Sigh). I’m about to drop my first TT build video on KZbin today as well on my simracing channel.
