Rescued meerkat FELL IN LOVE 😻 with a cat and now they are inseparable!

A cat named Nice and a meerkat named Suri have been living happily together under the same roof for several years. Their owner, Kate, rescued the meerkat from a small petting zoo.
She had a 2-year-old cat, Nice, and was worried about how he would react to a new animal. She feared they might fight, but what happened was beyond her wildest expectations. They bonded almost immediately, forming a unique, loving relashinshup.

About 35 years ago I had a cat and a ferret. The most fun I ever had with these two was watching them chase each other around the refrigerator. They loved to surprise each other! They were great friends and kept me extremely entertained. Bless.

It is so nice to see an original video, where both - the cat and the meerkat- are to see in the same video, the entire time. I have seen so much video, were the animals they are talking about, are first white with brown, a few seconds later they are red tabbies... and soon they are black or longhaired cats. Buying animals from their abusers, is not animal rescue. This makes the exercise a profitable business deal for the abuser. This in no way discourages the abuser, rather it incentivises them to continue with their exploitation.

The journalist is not very sharp. A journalist needed time to figure out why the meercat was depressed after separating it from its one companion. She should find another profession that requires the zero emotional intelligence that she has. Maybe a delivery person or housekeeping at a hotel.

Meerkats are beautiful animals, but they're not intended to be pets. They need a lot of space and special cares, and as the owner says in the video, they will destroy everything that can be destroyed in a home environment. Also, not all cats but only the most patient ones will tolerate all the continuous "attentions" of a Meerkat.
