I think you're doing so many amazing things to preserve and educate on reptiles/turles. Education is the key. It's so important to keep them in an environment that's appropriate to their needs and feed them what's good for them. You, sir, deserve some praise. I'm sure these Shoftshells are going to life a happy Live in your lovely pond and produve some nice babies.

I know this is an old video, but Kenan, I am so inspired and encouraged by the work you do. The beginning of this video broke my heart, but seeing you do all of this to help our natural Floridian species (I'm a 3rd generation native Floridian myself) makes me so happy and is so encouraging. Keep up the good work! 🐢💕

Your a human.. just because they do this don’t mean they suck, your trying to save them which is a good thing and is what I’m doing as well but saying other cultures SUCK when not knowing their cultures tradition doesn’t make you any better than them, understand their tradition first before saying pls

Hello Kenan, Your work is awesome and I just like to thank you. I shared this on facebook because I was not aware of this horrible practics since now. We need more humans like Kenan.

I'm so happy these turtles get to have a second chance at life! It turns my stomach knowing some humans will injure animals just so they are easier to work with. I understand people need to eat, but animals shouldn't have to suffer before giving you their life. This sadly happens in America as well. But stories like these give me hope that humans will be able to change the ways they see animals in the future! ^-^
