The side came with it we had one and 17 and 19

@@bobkerr5718 I know I said that wrong. What I was trying to say is I don’t think those side panels were the original ones that came with the tractor. The paint color and the condition I think they are either aftermarket or from a newer tractor

They were good tractors. Well worth fixing up for daily chores. Nice and straight. We had one years ago. Doc

I have the exact tractor and it looks like your doing a good job to start with the small stuff and make it usable again

I had a D14 years ago, very good tractor, I had many implements for the tractor including a 3 pt hitch adapter, Old AC mechanic said a D14 would starve a tractor shop to death, did not break down much, I really enjoyed cultivating with it, those front mount cultivators setup so you could see the dirt flowing around the plants, very satisfying, Good luck with the tractor, D17 heard years ago that it was one of the best power to weight ratio tractors made back in the day, Bet IH and AC wish they had converted to 3 pt hitch years earlier might still be in business, Be sure that under belly hitch hook is in good working order if you put a plow on this tractor, if that hitch comes loose while plowing it can be a disaster !

Wow! what a memory! You have found the model tractor I drove when I was a teenager. It was a real workhorse on our farm and you just couldn't kill it!

David, this is great. Reading these comments of everyone’s memories has really been a great feeling for me doing this channel. When we get through this winter I can’t wait to start doing some work with this tractor!

that's a great score! why would anyone want to scrap an old classic AC? I've heard these D14s have transmission and cracked cylinder head issues, but have also heard you cannot kill them, even with their problems, and farmers who have owned them, loved them. keep us posted on your progress

Thank you! This one has a solid transmission, no slipping out of gear! It does need a carburetor rebuild, the float sticks in this one. We are in the middle of a new barn build, hopefully once I get this built I will have a heated shop to work on these projects.

Agco wouldn’t sponsor their own children not to mention someone with an Allis. Agco stands for Allis Gleaner Company but they don’t like us to bring that up 😊

I just saved a 56' D-14! Any info on the carburator? Mine is missing entirely as I saved this tractor from the woods since 2005, a few things are stiled I've been able to track replacements for everything but the carb, ANY tips even super random would be much appreciated as I'm 17 and this is my first tractor. I've saved some abandoned fellas before so any lingo you use I'll get your drift!

Mine has a Marvel Schebler TSX670 carburator. there a couple guys on Facebook in the US who rebuild them. I think the TSX844 is a direct replacement as well. You might check out this link? shopping.owossotractorparts.com/products/carburetor-rebuilt-marvel-schebler-tsx844. there is also this facebook group is for D14 and D15's, they might be able to help with other questions. facebook.com/groups/507464052971105
