Session 4: What’s Next for RESEA and State Evaluations?

In August 2023, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Chief Evaluation Office and Employment and Training Administration along with DOL’s RESEA Evaluation Technical Assistance contractors from Abt Associates and the Urban Institute, co-sponsored RESEA Evidence-Building Week. With a series of panel sessions, the week highlighted the accomplishments of states in evaluating their Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) programs. This session focused on the future of RESEA evaluation efforts. It included an overview of the Clearinghouse for Labor Research and Evaluation (CLEAR) and a moderated discussion with DOL and the Evaluation TA team on the evidence base and future DOL-led RESEA evaluation efforts.
