Back in the day, I had a 351 top loader XB GS Fairmont. Living near Hahndorf, in the Adelaide Hills at the time, when leaving the freeway at Hahndorf, when I would press the clutch it would drop to the floor - like having the brake pedal go to the floor. Turned out it was the clutch fluid line running too close to the headers. I “fixed” it with a short length of garden hose wrapped in aluminium foil..!

Great video. I have a question, when fitting the shifter, did you have any issues aligning the revers shifter arm correctly to align spot on to the reverse switch nice and straight?? I’m having problems on mine, the part where should strike against the switch is no where near aligned..

Thank you mate. To be honest, getting reverse lights is normally on the back burner for me. I didn't get them working with this box and have since sold the box on so can't look for you either. Sorry I couldn't help you there

If you don’t replace the ‘O’ ring seals behind the shift levers, oil will leak from them
