My aneurysm in my brain ruptured and they took my skull out... With a 5 percent chance to live. Finally I knew who I was in 3 weeks later... This happened 5 years ago!! I had many coils but 2 years they also but a stent in my brain

I had a ruptured cerebral aneurysm in 2017. A coil was placed and I had days of vaso spasms. I also had cardiac arrest from neurogenic cardiomyopathy. I survived! I did suffer post aneurysm depression and sought counseling. I am a nurse case manager and was able to return to work in four months. I work really hard to compensate for my short term memory deficits. I am definitely a changed person and miss the old me. But, I truly am one of the lucky ones. Modern medicine saved my life. If I could be of any research related assistance I’d be happy to help. My only question might be, how well do the coils hold up? Thank you!

I had three coils in my sigmoid sinus aneurysm three months back and two stents in transverse sinus. I am facing extreme lithargy and memory issues.I have same querry

It happened to my mum 2 months ago, my mum aneurysm bleeding during surgery. Just wanted to know that is that normal to be bleeding during surgery or if it was a surgeon error ?

My father and his 2 sisters died from it and im in a 3rd world country with no insurence so i think I will die from it too im 34 i think before 40 he died 65 but I think Im sooner before 40. Looking forword to it 😊
