What a glorious educational tool for law students. Suppose creating a notebook for each class either individually or with other students in your study group. You could insert the case briefs you prepare for each case you prepare in advance of each weekly class session and have Notebook prepare a summary with questions to prepare for each class session and for exams. What a great study aid for your study group meetings. The added plus is that the student gets practice with using Notebook software which can be used after graduation for each case handled as an attorney. Organization is a big issue for lawyers. Discovery includes multiple set of written interrogators and responses and multiple depositions. Also multiple reports of experts (physicians etc). Ultimately collecting all this data notebooks could assist preparing questions to ask witnesses etc.

this is an awesome tool! I am using it like a crazy person. I love it!!!!! A few suggestions that people will probably love: - able to increase the font size - increase the word count of a note to 2000 words instead of 1000 words - adding images to notes

NotebookLM is a great tool. The feature that is missing the most for me is the ability to export/download individual notes as markdown files so that I can import them in my favorite Note-taking or Writing app (Obsidian, Bear, etc.). Being able to automatically import in NotebookLM newly added source documents (PDF, GDocs) in a particular folder in GDrive would also be very nice.

It's less useful for engineering course where there are a lot of diagrams. Google should add some of bard's ability into this notebookLM because bard has the ability to look at a diagram and explain all the details about it.
