I have 2 garages filled with Real vintage clothes from the 1800s, early 1900s to 1960s. One day I'll sell them. I used to have a store many years ago.

The women in my family all had scarf clips like that in the 1960's. They gave you so many ways to wear a scarf, which was a very fashionable accessory of the time. Also, about the shift dress in paisley, my grandmother had one very similar in a turquoise paisley, and I have it now. No idea what it cost but it's silk and was a very special-occasion dress to my grandmother.

Omg I have a vintage mystery item!!! They are my beloved teal Levi Bend Overs, which isn’t that much of a mystery, however they have front pockets which I have never seen. I have looked for other pairs because they’re a great pant but the no pockets is kind of a dealbreaker. How did I find the one pair with front pockets?? Where did they come from and where are the rest?? Also I considered that maybe someone altered them but that seems highly unlikely based on the pocket style, stitching, and fabric. Would love to know what you think, and happy to send in photos for your sleuthing👗🕵️‍♀️

I have a cute cute glass goose I got for a quarter at an old ladies garage sale, it's a perfume bottle (but doesn't look like one) and has perfume in it, but I didn't buy it for that I just liked the cute goose

Your lipstick has got my mesmerized, that it’s a beautiful shade of red. It goes well with your skin tone. Oh, for the scarves. The actress who wore them was Audrey Hepburn. That is whose image you should add for this segment. Oh the dress you wore was very nice as well, but had a difficult time actually seeing it. I’m definitely not your demographic, but I did enjoy it. I guess you channel has piqued my interest, because my mom made all of her clothes. So even though she had to be financially responsible, she always look elegant to any function she went to. Oh she took me with her shopping for fabric, patterns, and dyes. She dyed fabric and her shoes to match. The only thing I learn was to hem my pants, and shop for my clothing that went well together. Oh and this one girl like the clothing I picked out for her, so she’d invite me when she went shopping for new dresses. But I always preferred taking women’s clothing off than zipping them up. I’m glad women no longer wear bloomers, slips, petticoats, and pantyhose. There so time consuming when you trying to remove them. But I made an exception when it came to ballet tights. They’re thicker and can take a bit of rough handling when removing them off a female body. This was a nice alternate approach to your channel, perhaps make it a bimonthly feature.

Ok, so I don't have this piece but I was wondering if you could help me find it. It's the dress my grandma wore when she first met my grandpa. He has passed and learning how they met was realy the last thing I learns about him and now my favorite memorg of them telling it. I want to try and find the dress she wore that night or a similar one and customize it to be as similar as possible. I can give you the description she gave me if you're interested. No pressure. As a dude, I really love your passion (“passion for fashion!”). The cruel irony is, when I see women like you IRL, I assume they’re too classy for me. On a more on-topic note, I bought an ex a necklace with a fish piece that was composes of different links that could sway side to side, resembling the movement of a fish. The seller told us (when I was making a mental note to come back later to buy it in secret) that it, and another like it, were from the 70s. I wish I had a picture to ask more about it. Could ask her, but she’s met someone recently, and I’d rather move on and let them live their lives.

Nope, that is a genuine Gunnie Sax label. I know dor sure as I lived thru that area. And no, the patterns, absolutely did not have labels sold with the patterns. Try asking the folks of your on line community for the facts.......before making such statements that something is not a real piece when we know it is!!!!

Cant even spell Gunne Sax right, or watch 3 minutes into the video to find out she actually did end up saying it was a real Gunne Sax. Not sure about Gunne Sax patterns but I have a lot of Vogue sewing patterns from the 50s/60s that did come with labels you could sew in your finished garment.
