Also, there is one game that I recommend that you play that is coming out this summer is Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025 (Pawapuro 2024-2025) by Konami and it is the latest entry in the long running series that never got chance outside Japan. While it is in Japanese, the baseball gameplay segment of the game does not require any knowledge of Japanese in order to play. The series is known for its arcadey and simple, yet very addictive gameplay. It is coming to Switch and PS4 (you can buy either version) in July 18th only in Japan, but you can preorder (or order) it at PlayAsia. And the opening of the game is amazing and nostalgic. I know you usually don't buy stuff from PlayAsia or buy Japanese imports, but please take this recommendation into consideration. ChoroQ is a pretty unique game. I'll be interested to hear what you guys think of it. The Vasteel seller should have done a better job of explaining why he had it priced at $500 (which is reasonable for Vasteel with the sleeve). FYI - Exile: Wicked Phenomenon also has a cardboard sleeve like Vasteel (and is also expensive).

Waiting has worked and backfired on me. As you know I’m doing the vita set 286/317 currently. I waited almost a year and half for ar no surge and breach and clear at prices I’d pay. But now games like farming simulator 18 I skipped go for absurd prices. Like man I don’t wanna pay $60-80 for that game.

Limited Run had ported Cosmic Fantasy to switch. They made a deluxe edition with both games as a collection back in Feb this year. They might have it again on sale in the future. I rather play these games on switch anyways.

I can see why that slip cover is so rare since it literally falls right off the case. Its $200 out of my weekly cardboard budget tho 😅 By the way what Working Designs game did you find the most disappointing? For me it was Dragon Force. The game is by no means bad its just alot of ppl in retro forums say its the best game on the console so it hyped me up. When I played it I found its slow, boring and mad complicated but maybe im just stupid...Its been about 6 years since I got it so maybe ill give it another shot.

I mean yeah like everybody says that a steel slipcover is adds a lot of value. As well as Cosmic Fantasy with outer box is definitely not $80. But if you can find both for $360 with a steel outer cover and Cosmic Fantasy outer Box then more power to you. Love your show but that $360 offer was kind of low key lowball. IMO should have just passed altogether and find another vendor. But hey you learn some and lose some but was kinda hard to watch that.🫣

That's why we added what we did at the end after learning about the slip cover. Otherwise, making an offer around pricecharting value seems very fair. We are glad he held out so he can get what he wants for it 🙂
