ChoroQ is a pretty unique game. I'll be interested to hear what you guys think of it. The Vasteel seller should have done a better job of explaining why he had it priced at $500 (which is reasonable for Vasteel with the sleeve). FYI - Exile: Wicked Phenomenon also has a cardboard sleeve like Vasteel (and is also expensive).

Waiting has worked and backfired on me. As you know I’m doing the vita set 286/317 currently. I waited almost a year and half for ar no surge and breach and clear at prices I’d pay. Limited Run had ported Cosmic Fantasy to switch. They made a deluxe edition with both games as a collection back in Feb this year. They might have it again on sale in the future. I rather play these games on switch anyways.

i get why he asks somuch more than the ebay price. the firt thing that peopel either threw out or got destroyed over time is paper and cardboardpackaging, sowith it inmint state even is totally where the expensiveness is coming from you willnot be finding it any cheaper WITH the cardboard, but if you just want the game, loose disc goes for 210 so if you really want the game youcan get itmuch cheaper.

Because that's what we understood the value to be. Once we looked it up with the sleeve afterward, we realized that he could ask a bit more. That being said, the game has sold with the sleeve for $300 recently, so it's all water under the bridge at this point 🙂

Its $200 out of my weekly cardboard budget tho 😅 By the way what Working Designs game did you find the most disappointing? For me it was Dragon Force. The game is by no means bad its just alot of ppl in retro forums say its the best game on the console so it hyped me up. Maybe you’re trolling but in case you actually want to know. People pay these prices because they want the item and that’s what the free market decided they are worth. Super simple. There is a concept called supply and demand. The more desirable and rare the item is the more value it has. When people purchase these “collectables” the value doesn’t instantly drop to zero. Not always but often the price continues to grow as the rarity continues to grow through loss, damage and attrition. Sellers are not “getting rich” selling vintage games 99% of the time they have slight margins of profit. Exhibit A that guy couldn’t sell the game for 300ish because he is it for more and needs closer to $500 to make a little profit.
