Yay I’m so glad you are accepting more offers and making more sales!! I used to be able to get higher prices for things years ago but I really had to change my mindset as the economy changed (imo) and start accepting lower offers. I also have way more items for sale than I did starting out so I really want to turn my inventory. Great video! The denim jumper brought back memories for me. My daughter was born on 1986 and after her birth I wore a jumper very similar to the one you sold. Congrats on PM siding with you! It really should be a no-brainer for so many of the complaints by buyers that are scammy to decline them. Unfortunately, PM sides with them way too many times. Loving the sell, sell, sell mentality! I have been working on this as well & am very happy with the results. I am focusing on my Monthly Total Income versus the individual sale amount/just switching my mindset & plan to continue doing so. Looking forward to the Fall & Winter Seasons ---- I tend to sell higher profit items for these seasons!

Jumper dress was adorable. I have watched other resellers that set a goal to list 5 to 10 items a day and their sales increased. Start listing the items you just bought and list 1 or 2 older items, your sales will increase. You can do this.

I'm glad your case was resolved in your favor. I had someone open a case recently and Poshmark sent out the opportunity for me to respond late at night after I'd gone to bed. They closed the case in favor of the buyer early in the morning before I woke up. I thought that was so unprofessional and wrong of them. At least give me a chance to plead my case during daylight hours, come on!

Hi Amy...Just a thought I wanted to share. I'm sure you already know this, but just in case. On Poshmark if you send out 20% offers to your entire closet and then 30% the next day...None of those users that received the 20% off offers will receive the 30% off offer because they will still have a pending offer. I usually wait 48 hours so my next set of offers will go to everyone. 😊

When I sold more clothing, I focused on plus size dresses and skirts and also vintage, they flew out of my store easily for at least $25 and some much more. Denim maxi dresses and jumper are a big hit. Another keyword I would use is “pinafore” for the denim dresses, as some people wear them as a like a work or chore apron. Maxi dresses I would use “modest” as they cover a lot. I wish I could still sell clothing but it’s much more work than my current business model and I don’t have the proper space.

I try to tailor my dress listing to season. Like spring I will use words like "beachy" "sunny" "vacation" "vacay" "cruise". If the listing ts before holidays and it can be worn for anything holiday, I'll tag it "festive" "christmas" "nye" "new years eve". My main seller is dresses, but it is also my primary category in my store. I do not thnk dresses sell fast, generally. I am ok with 90 days to 6 months turn-over.

I'm interested in learning how you ship your bigger items like furniture? Do you only do local pick up? I found some beautiful MCM cat eye chairs and have had several people interested on eBay - but the shipping seems to be ridiculous making local pick up the only option....thanks for the great content - I learn alot since you sell much different things than me. :)

Hi! On Chairish they facilitate the shipping for furniture. They typically use Uship.com, which anyone can use. I will say, it isn’t cheap. I just had a buyer pay $550 to ship some chairs, that I sold to them for $505. People will pay for items they really want though. Hope this helps. 😊

Just curious because this is my first year I am reselling and going to have to pay in, how much do you save for taxes? Like 30% of your income from sales?

Hi! It depends so much on your income and your spouses income. What tax bracket you are in, will help determine how much you should save. I would highly recommend making an appointment with a CPA to have them look over your taxes from previous years, to help you determine what you should save. Be sure to ask them about deductions, what you write off can make a huge impact on your tax obligation.

Honestly posh has declined most cases opened against me. You do have to actually justify why its invalid though, you cant just not say anything. If you say nothing theyll approve it.
